Minimal to its core the new interior of is draped in cool neutral hues with white and shades of gray being the dominant colors. Black is used sparingly throughout the house to anchor the interior and to highlight distinct architectural features.
Using two intersecting volumes the architects aimed to overcome the challenge of creating a stylish spacious and organic family home with a light-filled and airy interior. It is the lower levels of the two volumes that house the large living area and an additional family room along with a sleek modern kitchen in white and a lovely dining space.
Designed by NatureArch Studio this narrow house is set on a plot that is just forcing the architects to make the most of every inch of space on offer. What it lacks in width the home makes up for easily in height as its various public and private spaces are stretched across four different levels.

Nestled on a leafy 700-square-meter site in the by Forte Gimenes & Marcondes Ferraz Arquitectos does precisely the same as it uses an open-air glassy pavilion to connect the interior with the outdoors even as a stunning concrete monolith offers both ample privacy and visual contrast.
Designed by Wunschhaus Architektur and spread across 411 square meters the 3-story house has a wonderful indoor-outdoor interplay thanks to the extensive use of sweeping glass walls and large glass doors. While the creation of a light-filled interior was one of the prime objectives here the homeowners also wanted an interior that encouraged interaction between family members with each space flowing into the next.
Enveloped in a series of water features that even find their way indoors this does feel like a modern-day castle with its cool entrance that features a sleek bridge above a koi pond. Step inside and you will be awestruck by a floating walkway and a staircase next to it that hover above an indoor pond.
